Other Interests
Art (digital, pencil, pen, clay, wood), genealogy, Biblical prophecy, and lots more.
I've been teaching computer graphics for about 14 years now, and I absolutely love my job. I feel like they pay me to be creative -- and to show students how to unleash their own creativity. Most of the projects I submit are examples of projects I am teaching in my classes... although when I am inspired by a submission I see on deviantART I sometimes play with it [with the deviant's permission].
I also have my students sign up for deviantART pages to serve as digital portfolios. They are surprised by the positive feedback and love they receive by the DA community.
I just have to say that I have truly been enjoying the interaction with my fellow Deviants. Great feedback from them, seeing amazing works from them, etc.
It's that time of year again when I have my students create deviantART pages to host some of their Digital Art creations. I'm looking forward to seeing what the put up and how excited they get when someone "Favorites" their work. :)
